Construction has reached a significant milestone with the raised platform, which is now installed and operational as a compliant, non-signalised wombat crossing. Pedestrian fencing will be installed on the western side of the crossing near the school gate in the coming days.

There has been a delay with the installation of the flashing amber lights and new street lighting. This is expected to be undertaken in early December 2024, subject to SA Power Networks connection. Variable Message Boards and speed restrictions will remain in place until the lights have been installed.
