The design services for Stage 2 of the Masterplan requires the expertise of an experienced and innovative design agency to assist with the design development of the Coastal Zone.

In September 2021, the project released a open market expression of interest and received a seven submissions from the market. After completing an in depth evaluation of the submissions and then a select tender activity, the project is the final stages of completing the procurement to identify the right external agency to assist the project team. A report to Council will be submitted on 24 January 2023 requesting an Adelaide based design team to be awarded this important piece of work.

Once the procurement is finalised, the project will begin the a design research phase and engage with stakeholders before commencing the concept design. The draft concept design/s will be released for public consultation.
