In preparation for the stormwater relining work which is due to start at the end of October, Council contractors will be undertaking the preliminary work required to remove the tree roots and prepare the pipes for relining.

Night works will take place from Sunday 13 October to Friday 18 October 2024, between 8pm and 6am.

This work has been brought forward to ensure the materials are onsite and the area has been prepared to commence the reconstructive stormwater relining work on time.

The contractors will be mobilised in approximately three parking bays at a time, starting near the Brighton Road junction and will then travel west along the southern side of Jetty Road to Partridge Street.

There will be minimal impact to vehicle traffic while this work is being undertaken. It is not expected to have any impact on business access or the footpath during the day and the early evenings.
