The City of Holdfast Bay has now completed the renewal of seven beach access points in Glenelg between the Glenelg Jetty and the Broadway Kiosk. One of these sites is directly north of the Glenelg Jetty and now provides fully wheelchair accessible access to Glenelg Beach and the Moseley Beach Club.

The overall works consist of both ramps and stairways and have improved accessibility for beach going community members. There is now a greater ability to cope with fluctuating sand levels. The new beach access infrastructure has been constructed from durable marine grade materials including a permeable high grip mesh material surface that improve safety and usability for the community and reduces maintenance requirements for Council.
