The cofferdam, which is under construction, is a temporary structure that will be a watertight enclosure that will allow for dredging and the installation of a permanent rockwall around the old mooring site. The old mooring site will be filled and compacted with rubble to build a solid base, which will be finished with a paved surface that’s level with the existing walkway.

Other civil construction works underway outside of the old mooring site include stormwater and electrical infrastructure upgrades and new garden bed formations.
