Following the recent development approval, the mobilisation of machinery back to the Patawalonga site is now underway.

Works occurring in the week of 21 - 28 October will include:

  • Preparing access to the waterside of the old mooring site
  • Installing a 'silt curtain' within the Patawalonga Lake surrounding the old mooring site which will restrict sediment movement while dredging.

  • Following these works, the dredging will commence in preparation for the rock wall installation. The rock wall installation will adjoin the existing wall, creating an even level of the paved area. There will also be further landscaping preparation and the installation of the adjoining wall-top balustrade.

The work site will require a compound to enable additional staff to undertake work simultaneously, ensuring the project's completion date. The larger fenced-off site will require pedestrians to pass around the compound area. A temporary path will be created adjacent to Adelphi Terrace before rejoining the path to the Patawalonga Lakeside pathway. This will be signposted for path users.
