After extensive sub-base and rockwall preparation of the former Buffalo mooring site, the final fill and compaction of the old mooring site is now well underway to being integrated into the surrounding re-paved open space area.

Substantial paving (approx 750 sq/m) has also been completed on the southern and eastern sides of the project area, with a new balustrade also being installed along the top of the lake wall, providing further pedestrian safety measures.

The final work to complete the project will include further paving, balustrade, cultural artworks, garden beds, seating, and lighting upgrades.

Project completion is set for the first weeks of February 2025.
