New Playspace - Coming Soon
The playspace at Wattle Reserve will be revitalised to create a better-designed offering that connects seamlessly with existing recreation facilities, transforming the well-used park into a vibrant reserve for everyone to enjoy.
The new playspace will feature brand-new equipment including a bespoke stingray play structure, seating, a picnic setting with a barbecue and shelter, and a drinking fountain. A pathway will connect the new playspace to the pedestrian crossing, improving accessibility to existing recreational facilities and amenities. The revamp of this playspace reflects Council’s commitment to providing high-quality, open spaces that can be enjoyed by all members of the community.
We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors when construction is completed, which is expected by November 2026.
